What's happening in PK and how you can help

Recently, 17 souls gave their lives to Christ after a week long convention. The President of the Guyana Conference was with us and he encouraged us in the work. More so, he challenged the newly baptized members to remain strong and steadfast in the word of God.

To get more people in the church involved in of winning souls for the kingdom of God, we started a program called "A Pound Of Love." Members bring a pound (or pounds) of what ever food they can afford and then after church we make food baskets and distribute them to sick and elderly people in the community. God has been faithful to us and we want to keep being faithful to Him.

We have many different needs to be able to continue to work God has put before us:

First, above all, we would like to ask for your prayers for this project and the people that are willing to work with us in spreading the gospel to every person here.

Secondly, we have plans to dedicate the church in February of next year (2019). However, we still have a few things that need to be completed before than can happen. We need wood for the benches, cement for the floor, tiles for the floor and paint.

Finally, we are also trying to complete the mission house. We still lack: beds for the rooms, a toilet and bath for the bathroom, paint, cabinets for rooms and kitchen, tables and chairs, and a good water supply.

Between the church and the mission house, we are short about $8,000 USD. This may seem like a lot but we serve a living and powerful God who has always provided for us and who has never failed at reminding us to stay faithful to Him.

If the Holy Spirit moves your heart to contribute to this project financially, please click "Donate" on the home page. Either way, we solicit your prayers for the people of PK and the work that the Lord is doing here.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you.

Blessings.
